Your private driver will meet you in the morning on the pier in Amalfi nearby the ship following disembarkation with a signboard with your name clearly displayed on it. He will proceed to make your experience truly memorable and relaxing, driving trough the Amalfi Drive and exploring the town Ravello. During the Amalfi Drive you will have the several opportunities to take pictures, ad after the visit of the town you will have the chance to enjoy a superb Wine tasting at a local Amalfi Coast family run winery, where all the business inlcusing the restauranti s managed and runned by the family members.

Ravello

Since from the first bend after Amalfi, your eyes will be full of beauty, because your driver will drive you first to Atrani, the smallest town in Italy, then He will take The road to Ravello, which is a slow uphill drive where you will pass several wineries and olive factories, and where you will admire the beautiful sea view, dominated by the Mount Avvocata.

Once there, you will be able to get in the square first, where you will get all the instructions and the directions to visit all the main attractions. Here You will have a couple hours where you will spend your time visiting the Duomo, Villa Rufolo and Villa Cimbrone, and all the charming little streets, full of boutiques and beautiful old houses. The driver will drive the customers to Tramonti, a place composed of thirteen hamlets scattered among the rugged hills above the Amalfi Coast. Here our customers will find vineyards, chestnuts woods, olive trees, grazing sheeps and shented lemon groves, set in a bucolic landscape, just eight km from the sea The name Tramonti comes from “tra i monti”, meaning “ between the mountains. It will be fascinating for the customers to sea how green and different is the “inside area” of the Amalfi Coast.

Tramonti is one of the three most important wine villages of the Amalfi Coast, the other two being Furore and Ravello. Once in town, the driver will drive the customers to winery, situated on steep-sloped terraced land between 300 and 600 metres above the sea level. It’s a beautiful place where the guest are treated with great hospitality and if they stay there for lunch, they will be able to eat fresh and local food, made by three local women. Over there the customers will enjoy a walk with the owner through the winery where they will visit this beautiful property, which is one of the several small vineyards of very old wines. Very old in this case means 400 years old and more. It’s quite simply something that must be seen to be believed. The most famous grape planted is a local red one, called “ Tintore”.
